Crawling in My Skin
Crawling in My Skin. My husband sent me this video today. I think he hates me. I am so grossed out after watching this video. Both of us have allergies, his worse than mine, as he also has seasonal asthma and in the spring has to use an inhaler. I am allergic to dust and pollen. We replace our bed pillows about 3 or 4 times a year, I can’t imagine anyone using the same bed pillows for over a year. I usually buy allergy pillows.
I have been looking into healthy pillows. Did you know that pillows start growing mold, bacteria and dust mites as soon as you start using them? Gross huh! That’s because we breath into our pillows, and that moisture that we breath into the pillow creates a playground for germs. Just watch this video and you will see what I am talking about.

Love stinks! Farmer creates manure valentine
ALBERT LEA, Minn. – Nothing says "I love you" like a half-mile wide heart made out of manure. A southern Minnesota man created the Valentine's Day gift for his wife of 37 years in their farm field about 12 miles southwest of Albert Lea.
Bruce Andersland told the Alberta Lea Tribune that he started the project with his tractor and manure spreader Wednesday and finished Thursday.
His wife, Beth, said it's the biggest and most original Valentine she has ever received. She said some people might think it's gross, but she says it's cute and "Why not do something fun with what you got?"
She said the heart would be darker except for the recent heavy snowfall that mixed with the manure. - AP

3-legged dog wins 1st place in NYC shelter contest
NEW YORK – A three-legged pitbull mix that played in a game of doggie baseball has won "Best in Show" at a talent competition held by one of New York City's largest animal shelters.
Nine dogs competed in Friday's contest at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. But it was Prince who impressed the judging panel the most with his feat of catching three baseballs.
The nearly 2-year-old dog lost one of his legs and had a pin inserted in another after being struck by a car.
The ASPCA's senior vice president of the adoption center says Prince's disability doesn't hold him back.
Gail Buchwald says he "struts his stuff like a winner." - AP
